Is it possible to be consistently hired for your best work?
There is a longing in each of us to naturally give of our best, and either to be given, or to create, that opportunity.
This is the simple big idea that I have been leading the way with for nearly three decades.
I have spent the last three decades helping tens of thousands of people across the planet discover and live their best work, The Work You Were Born To Do. Work as a joy.
It can be lucrative to deliver your best work, but just as importantly it is about delivering your unique gifts, and operating from the essence of who you are. It is a high frequency, happy place to operate from.
To be you at your best, delivering your best work to your ideal clients or audience – a wonderfully brave thing to do, as it is an invitation to be more open and less defended
It is not something you invent, it is a calling that you were born with, etched upon your heart, and it naturally flows from you.
It represents one of the most wonderful places to inhabit in life – it is a supreme act of self-leadership and the leadership of others. Leading from your competence, humanness and imperfections.
I think it is what you were Born For:
- To be naturally you at your best
- To discover and deliver your best work
- To be in service to your grateful ideal clients, audiences and team
- To be paid well for delivering your best
This is your place of healthy self-awareness and authentic power with people, at the top of your game, using your power for good.
It is not a place of grandiosity, but is you in your grandeur.
It is delivering what you are really good at and enjoy. The essence of you, who you are being, your humanity and even your unique flavour of genius shines through your best work. Your best work comes from you, and some of it comes through you. You bring the light.
It doesn’t even feel like work, in the traditional sense of work, where you are doing it primarily for the money. You are working for the love of it, and you get paid.
It is what you want to be hired for
When you are in your power, delivering your best work, you shine, you become naturally attractive. People recommend you and seek you out for your wisdom and guidance and your ability to help
You are both inspired and inspiring
Today, I have much greater clarity about what my best work is.
I am hired as a guide and confidante by people whose leadership is a calling as well as a job title. People for whom their leadership is about enabling the brilliance in themselves and their clients, teams and audiences. Some are CEO’s and some are thought leaders and guides.
This is the place I help you to get to.
It is the place I inhabit, at least a fair amount of the time.
Far from your best work being selfish, there are people waiting for you to show up with your own best work
It can be hard to be truly happy when you know you aren’t at your best, or delivering your own best work
Sadly, most of us don’t get to deliver our best work. And there are hundreds of reasons why.
So might you not be showing up with your best work?
There are many possible reasons. You may not even know you have a brilliance in you that other people will value. You may be hiding out, playing smaller, run by your fears or anxieties, doing what feels safer. You may not realise you have innate, but dormant, gifts and talents. You may be living in the shadow of someone else, afraid to fully take up your place and inhabit yourself. You may be disowning your own power or simply not be aware of the full extent of your own power.
Shall we have a Delivering Your Best Work conversation?
If anything of this resonate with you, and you are offering leadership, and know you have aspects of your best work still within you, and you haven’t fully allowed them out yet, I would love to have a conversation with you.
In the conversation, we’ll explore:
- What your best work is
- Who your best work is for
- How much of the time you get to deliver your best work
- Where you know you’d love to be
- What stands in your way and where you might be hiding out or playing small
- Where your growth is, and how you can courageously progress towards where you are inspired to be
Drop me an email at nick@iamnickwilliams.com and we’ll arrange to have that conversation
