My Story of Transformation
“Those words were like rain in the desert for my soul and I will never forget them.”

What was the problem you were having before you engaged me?
I had completely lost my confidence after a series of personal and professional setbacks and was unclear about how to move forward with my professional life in a way that felt congruent. I was broke – emotionally, financially and spiritually.
What did your frustration feel like as you tried to solve the problem yourself?
I felt like all the tools that had helped me solve problems in the past didn’t work any more! I felt like the questions my life was asking me were not ones I knew how to answer. I felt completely deskilled and bewildered.
What was different about my approach to helping you solve your problem?
Your gentle approach helped calm the voice inside me that was convinced that I had failed at life and that it was all over for me. Until that part of me could be quietened down, there was no room for any coherent ideas or plans for a way forward.
Take us to the moment when you realized the coaching was actually beginning to work to solve your problem.
There was a moment when I was sitting in my shame over things having not worked out for me despite my many skills and achievements and you said that it was absolutely fine to be ‘perfectly imperfect’. I had such a tyrant of an inner critic at that point and the idea that it was OK to be imperfect and that it didn’t mean it was game over for me was a revelation. Those words were like rain in the desert for my soul and I will never forget them.
What does your life looks like now that your problem is solved or is being solved?
It is 9 years later and the seed of the idea that I created whilst we were working together, and which you encouraged and nourished and believed in is now a very well-respected, perfectly imperfect global organization which has helped many thousands of women directly, and reached over 2-million women through my website. I have written a best-selling book about creating your ‘Plan B’ for life after involuntarily childlessness and am considered a global thought leader in this area. I have my confidence back but in a much less brittle, outcome-focused way than before, as it’s fed by an inner wellspring of congruence and service, rather than other’s opinions of me.
Why did you choose me?
I loved your video blogs about creating a heart-centered business and felt that you were someone who understood my deep hunger to use my entrepreneurial skills in a way that would be of service in the world. I was right. Thank you Nick xxx
